I learned something a few months ago I wanted to share. Its an easy peasy tip for a lovely earthy scent floating through your home. Fresh rosemary in a jar or vase. Not only does it add a touch of greenery and life to a space, but it smells so delicious. Living in San Francisco, rosemary pretty much grows in abundance on every street corner, in every park, and just as easily in a potted plant right outside your house.
Its become a weekly ritual in my house hold – every Sunday evening, while walking the dogs, we pick fresh rosemary for the coming week. It lasts wonderfully for days and is still useable in that Saturday or Sunday night chicken recipe. And if you’re looking for one of those too…this skillet rosemary chicken recipe is quite tasty.
