VANCOUVER FASHION WEEK (VFW) is a semi-annual event that is acclaimed as the West Coast’s most prestigious industry event. We thrive on inviting the most creative and dynamic talent and feature established emerging designers. VFW is a one-of-a-kind event that continuously brings together buyers, media, celebrities, industry professionals and innovative designers from around the world to celebrate creativity and fashion.Diversity and multiculturalism are VFW’s core values. This semi-annual event has been host to a range of collections from street wear to eco-friendly garments.
Now celebrating its 10th year, VFW has established itself as a highly successful and widely recognized event providing a forum to nurture and celebrate the fashion industry. In recent years, VFW has featured internationally acclaimed designers such as Versace, Anna Sui, Lauren Vidal, Kersh, Helen Lee and Ha Sang Beg in addition to emerging designers such as Pauline van Dongen.
At Chiffon Souffle we are super crazy excited for this week’s fashion shows in Vancouver not only because its fashion, but because of what Vancouver represents to the fashion world, its the fashion capital of Canada and is listed at 31 out of 50 fashion capitals in the world according to Global Language Monitor. (This year it made it debut!)
